Hi.

I'm Sandie Fox.

Life leaves many of us hurt and confused by events that may or may not be under our control. Sometimes we can see it coming, other times we are blindsided and don't even know what hit us, how it it us, or why it hit us.

No matter how well we think we are prepared for life's road, we often find ourselves troubled by issues surrounding ourselves or those close to us. These may result from illnesses, accidents, uncontolled behavior, or actions either premeditated or unintentional. Any of them can be difficult to overcome if faced alone.
 
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and an Alcohol and Drug Counselor. My areas of specialization include generational and relationship issues for families, couples and individuals; change and transitions, such as divorce and blended or diverse/non-traditional families; dissociative disorders, and trauma-related problems; and attention deficit disorders.
 
Lifespan Reno can help resolve relationship issues for single people, married, or alternative partner lifestyles. Stress, anger, addictions (alcohol, drugs, sex, dysfunctional relationships, internet, etc), can all be addressed, as well as parent and child conflicts, school issues, runaway problems, and bullying.

I have also worked with a colleague to develop the curriculum for and co-facilitate "Emotionally Intelligent Parenting" classes. These classes are unique in Northern Nevada. Many individuals feel alone or unconnected to others around them. This increases their emotional problems and stress.

I am here to provide support and stability and help them find direction. I am often the client's one-person mentor, coach and cheerleader!
